Before becoming a photographer, Greg James was a working fashion model. (See photos of him to the left <-).   At 19 he started his career with top agency, Irene Marie, in Miami. He was then sent off to Milan with an agency called FASHION and went on to live and model in Tokyo & Osaka Japan as well as U.S. markets such as NY, Chicago, Miami, and LA. His face has been seen in campaigns for Josten's rings, Hilfiger, Matrix hair, Vans, Levi's and catalogs such as GQ, Sears, JC Penneys, Kohl's and many more. After 9 years of modeling, Greg decided to switch to the other side of the camera and become a photographer. His years of experience in front of the camera had naturally given him insight on how to help models and actors feel comfortable and relax on the shoot. Greg's "Not so pleasant experience with photographers" has been a constant reminder to give everyone a fun, relaxing and unforgettable time on the shoot. Over the past 22 years, Greg has worked and shot thousands of young models and actors for a living, including a 2 day shoot with Jennifer Lopez. He has established himself with a solid reputation and has worked with many top industry agencies and managers. Greg has also discovered and placed many young models/actors with the top agencies in the world. He has started many models and manages a handful of top models with top agencies.
